As you may have seen on Facebook, the club has made the difficult decision to postpone the Ross Durham fours scheduled for next week, as well as the Community Cup.
This is to allow us to properly repair the green in the coming weeks and give both events the venue that they deserve.
We will announce the new dates shortly and hope to use both events to mark the opening of the upcoming season. We are tentatively scheduling the Ross Durham fours for the Grand Final public holiday in September to give it a date where it can stand alone.
The green will remain open for the time being – we will let you know if any allowances need to be made for these works. It is likely the works will require one or two days where the green has to be closed to allow for the surface to be lifted, but should this be the case we will give you as much notice as possible.
